Installed some LED number plate lights after seeing some on a MKVI GTI a few weeks back. They were something like $14 shipped from eBay. Will be interested to see how they look tonight.

Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Ordered a PD160 intake to go with the BMC Filter I put in yesterday, to hopefully complement the APR tune. Also a stubby antenna and racks went on last week..
Rear sway bar to follow then new wheels, and finally coilovers, though that's a little longer term..
Can anyone comment on whether an N75 Race is worth considering? It seems like a decent upgrade for minimal outlay, but who's had experience?
Here's how she looks at this stage...

Got my PLX Kiwi Wifi today, so I will download the app tonight to my iPad, and have a play with it tomorrow.
As I am looking now, I have to wash about 3000km of road grime, dirt and bugs off my car!!"If can't get behind your troops, feel free to stand in front of them..."

Does buying a 2008 Polo GTI count? Not today mind you, but last Friday.
Tonight I was going to have a crack at installing the parts I've already bought (Stubby antenna, Dash Cubby, Honeycomb Grills, Audi TT pedals [Also a Single Din tray for later on with a new headunit]) but it's bloody freezing in Melbourne tonight, and sure enough, it's raining too.
NB, can anyone link me some information on changing over the front grills and the pedals? I've been searching for an hour now for the pedals and found nothing, so I'm really hoping that means it's simple. Have yet to start searching for a how to on the Grills yet though*.
*Found the thread for them, and looks simple enough to do. Now to just wait for daylight...Last edited by WARFURIC; 10-05-2011, 09:54 PM.2008 Polo GTI, lower honeycomb grills, PD160.
