Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Noticed the PoD got a very loud air leaking noise on the highway the other day
It just appeared out of nowhere and after some testing it seems to be boost related
After looking from under I found this
Looks like the driveshaft is rubbing against the silicon turbo hose
Took it out to have a good look and looks like it been through some serious rubbing
Plus there was already a not very loud air leak since I took the pipework apart to solve some chafing issues on the MAP sensor
So I end up buying the pipework kit from the Darkside guys
Took only 4 days including weekend to arrive from the UK that was quick!
Will have to wait for the weather to cool down a bit before I get my hands dirty
Report back soon06 Polo TDi

Installed the back two of Eddy's eccentric bolts for the subframe. First one went in with a slight ream, no worries 45 mins done. I'll get all four done today no worries I thought. Driver side - not so much. Best part of three hours to get it reamed all the way through and the subframe undone all round so I could get the bolt lined up. The worst case of right leg sunburn going and lucky to make kids pickup in time! but happy they are in. Two to go and then a proper alignment.
