    • Hard to say, my ride is firm, but not as bad as it was with the AP coilies and Whiteline control arm bushes.

I think it helps get power down, but an LSD would be a lot better (and a lot more expensive)

        • I have tried three sets of front sway bar links on my car now. The stock ones, the Mondeo ones, and the FK ones that came supplied with the coil overs (these are the ones that flogged out). Now that the coil overs are fitted, both the stock ones and the Mondeo ones are too long, and I will have to source some other FK ones or adjustable ones to fit.

They're friecken sweet! Is that Tiffany Blue by any chance?

I replaced the other coilpacks whilst I was in Canberra for GAD, had to limp it up from Gundagai when I heard another one starting to go.

              • Close enough to Tiffany Blue

Been refurbing these wheels whilst I serve out the remaining 6 months of my license suspension. Sometimes I wish the damn Polo wasn't chipped, wayyy too easy to venture into lose your license territory...which is what I did and got busted

Hopefully once I get my license back I can rock these bad boys and come out to some meets

Any idea what is causing them to fail like they have been ? Just seems unusual to have 2 fail in a short sequence.

Well I figured it likely as when the first went, it would only make sense for the other 3 to follow suit.

Ended up getting a complete set of 4 put in whilst I was up there and kept the other new one as a spare. It's amazing how much harder it pulls now, the confidence is making me enjoy the car again.

                      • First free mod to the Polo! Modified the standard intake and cleared all the plastic from the mouth. I feel like I own a turbo car again, I can hear spool!

Had the car 4 days and love it!

                          • Just bought an AGU long motor. Big port head. Deciding between IE rods or maybe IE 2.0 stroker kit.
May sell my current motor soon if anyone interested.

Thanks Gavin! The bug will bite (again) and I'll be chasing some power in the near future!
