Oh yeah and I wouldn't put the front bar back to stock either unless you were going to uprate the springs to even the ledger. Never know it might work! the car mightn't dive under brakes as much - less front geometry change and less unweighting of the rears might help you get a better turn in?

Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Yup, it's got the toe correction kit.
There's nothing lacking in my handling (well nothing obvious to me and my needs), it's not understeering in it's current form. My comment was more about why upgrade front sway bar when running H&R springs and standard struts rather than a deficiency in my set-up. For me (H&R coil overs), softening rear sway bar, or stiffening the front brought about more push and slower lap times. You can check out my latest video in my thread which sorta shows the handling and grip.Track Car: 06 Polo GTI Red Devil mkII

Pulled the trigger and bought a turbosmart dual port BOV, seems to hold boost a bit better.
Also pulled the trigger on a new pair of taillights, as the stock ones with the circles really annoyed me! They are 6r styled ones, I'll let you guys know when they come in!!

HAR80N - just be mindful it may feel great at lower speeds, but at higher speeds may be unstable if you lift off. Play around with it a bit. On my daily with the H&R and Bilstein, I run the rear sway bar soft. I also ran it soft on the circuit. Others have mentioned some big moments running the rear too hard. Just an FYI.Track Car: 06 Polo GTI Red Devil mkII

Usually they catch you out in the wet. My MK1 GTI was a real handful on roundabouts in the wet, much slower, very twitchy. Same with the Squib, dry roads are great. Wet, it feels like it could flick into oversteer at any time.
Ultimately you need weight transfer to the outside wheels to give you grip. It's all weights and moments.

What did you do to your Polo today?
Got the FMIC in today. Interesting how the car is smoother to drive than before. Less of a big hit when it comes on boost, but holds power all the way through. Together with the dump pipe makes the car a much smoother drive.
Haven't driven the car for 2 weeks now, been using the merc. Forgot how much fun the POG is.
