Yes ... thanks needs to go to Andych for the V5 map!
Apologies for missing Andych. Many thanks, Andych. The maps were the first thing I had a go at. Had success and then ventured forth. My journey continues ....

All I can say is - You guys are brilliant. After I worked out how to extract and combine the 5 parts, I burnt the CD using IMGBurn and then made the choice to "have a go". It worked perfectly. I followed the instructions fully and I now have 33Gb of free space instead of 19 odd Gb. I have now upgraded to FW4020 from FW3920, have V5 maps and a ton of POIs. Bloody brilliant. Thanks heaps Kamold, JohnC, Aussietig and I'm sure I've missed someone. Well done.
Your next assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to install a custom boot screen. Then post pics to prove your success.
Haha, Brim. You got it. I asked Johnc for a security Boot screen and he replied super fast with it. Just burning now. I'm going to try it shortly Will post the pic.

NOTE: For RNS510 owners in Europe, please see this guide:
Hi all.
So I've got a European RNS510 but I now live in NZ (imported the car with the unit in it).
I now want to upgrade the firmware and load latest NZ maps...
So do I follow the Oz/NZ instructions or the European ones for upgrading firmware?
From what I can see, the hardware models are the same, so guessing it just has to do with the partition sizes based on the maps I will load.
The RNS-510 is a great unit, I love it, but has anyone noticed how when you put in multiple destinations that each leg of the journey does not have a different colour? Other sat navs have diferent colours for different parts of the journey so you can identify where it doubles up. Is there anyway to change this in the RNS?
