Hey Kamold. Being the resident brain trust , do you know if the Brake Parking Module on the Passat B7 is compatible with the B6 (R-36). My options are to gran one fro a wrecked B7 or Aliexpress
Cheers Phil

Go into live data in the 6D trunk module and look for switch. Then operate the switch and see if the value changes.

Your car did not have a BT module from factory.
So it's either dealer fitted or aftermarket.
'VW UHV' likely indicates it's a 9W2 module. Which doesn't support phonebook:

They are a very weak design there is next to no plastic there once the spring releases have been operated a few times.

You could have one of many ahem...'classic' BT systems. It may have been factory fitted, it may have been dealer fitted, or it could be after market.
What is the name of the BT module you connect to from your phone?
If you like you can send me your VIN in PM and I can check the PR codes...

Yes it should unlock it and it should pop up slightly. If it's not there sounds like there may be an issue with the switch given you said it operates fine from the keyfob. You can check measuring blocks with a diag tool like VCDS or OBD11 to see if the CECM can see the switch being operated.

Sounds like it doesn't have powered tailgate. This was an option.
The boot release switch just unlocks it.
