Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Talk to Greg Roles. He can help you acquire some WMI good gear
Talking to a local VAG specialist, he said he hates working on cars with WMI, that you can smell them as they drive in, and opening the bonnet often makes his eyes sting... but maybe Greg can give you some feedback.

I was more referring to the product.... unless he's got newer product than that with dedicated WMI controllers etc, rather than just using the "Adaptronic ECU", I feel that the product available elsewhere looks more up to date and configurable. For example, the Snow Stage 3 WMI kit. Plus the additional parts and options and other kits available.
The stuff Greg is bringing (going to?) is better again, and apparently the support is much nicer too. But I've not got the PM with the details anymore

Needed to fill up - not bad for a tankful with no country mileage.
Need to fit the skinny tyres for the next tank
