Hahaha that is what the bank is for, they must love me
If I had cash I would Probably be driving a Golf R or a Megane Cup or something
Reason for buying the polo is it was cheaper to purchase and mod than the ones listed above

Actually I have wanted them for ages, the rear 2 piece that is
Everyday I go on ECS waiting for them to come on special, last night i got home and there was on pair (scratch and dent sale) with marks on the hats.
They were less than half price, got shafted on the postage tho.
Seeing as we are talking about how much I spend, the only thing (labour wise) I have paid for is to have the control arm bushes installed as I couldnt do them, the rest i have done myself and with help, which has saved thousands, like you doing your own Vinyl.
Also you have to know where to get things from to save $$, for instance do you know how cheap KW coilovers are from the UK, people think they cost a fortune
I love my car so much, i am at the stage where i get depressed if i dont buy things for it, I would rather spend $$ on it than spend it on food or going out etc, oh and I have never been Overseas since i was 16, when ever i have the $$, more mods come
My friends are organizing a dinner Friday (that i don't feel like going to, ha) nevertheless i'll probably have to make an appearance, but hopefully i'll make it down to Tim's afterwards and say hello
Hehe, @thunderVW - So true, my first car was an old decrepit bmw that I worked blood sweat and tears to earn enough just to buy haha! and now look at me! rep'in a Polo like a boss! LOL ...
... subsequently, I've had 3 of those bmw's since and maybe tried to destroy one in particular (sig, hint, lol!)
Ow god I **** on...

Yeah, but your car isn't supposed to be a cheap town runabout
Anyway, it's back from the mechanic and the clunk is gone - we're still not sure where it went as enough things were taken off and reinstalled/replaced that it could have been various things.
Many thanks to Jmac for his fantastic advice with the rear LCA bush replacement.
