SOOO much bang for buck. and a damn nice place to be, too. i reckon i could just about fit my snowboard in the back of dave's car (a constant issue for a hatch owner, with a board that's 160cm's).
(no offense) golf gti's - all over the place. skoda vrs? i always smile when i see one on the road.

(you know how you take the airbag out, and there's a torx55 screw that you undo in order to take the steering wheel out? does the boss kit simply retain that torx55 piece and screw into the steering column? or did it simply say "for polo 2001~~" on the ebay seller's ad?)
Wow, another Polo driver converting to the Czech side!
I'm most likely about to do a deal this morning on one.
Just a hint, look at 1 Y/O factory demo's. You can save a very quick $10k on it, and the one's I've seen have been near mint. You could even spend $1k-1.5k on a VAG extended warranty to equal the new 5 year deal and still be $8k better off than new. I was about to buy a brand new one but I'm quite happy for the VAG group to take the $10k hit for the sake of a few thousand km

bump for my question regarding the boss kit. we'll get there, lol. hopefully.
Sorry, been away for Summernats and haven't been checking on here. The boss kit is simply an adapter that goes in the original splines of the column, then the big torx screw locks it down. One 2ohm resistor, and you're away. Please note though, it also DISABLES THE PASSENGER AIRBAG TOO.
For some goddamn reason, broke the bonnet release. Tried to open the bonnet and the handle just swung freely after a bit of pressure. No idea what happened.
In other news, I'm about to book my car in for a timing belt change and ECS Stage 1 clutch install. Getting 205/50/R16 KU31s on the weekend too.

How much did the KU31's set you back if you dont mind me asking?
Once i pull my finger out and get some brakes, tyres will be next on the list!!
