          • I would not heatwrap an exhaust manifold and/or dump pipe, that stuff holds the water if it gets wet and could rust very quickly.

            Best bet is ceramic coating

                Loads of opinions expressed on this all over the web with opinion divided - if the wrap is painted properly people don't seem to have problems.

                      Not yet, got caught up last weekend with other stuff. Will be taking it up to Race Torque performance in Wangara when I get a chance to see what they can do. I'll see how I go with them, cheers for the offer though.

                      Also going to see what Golfwagen can do on a milltek.. mmm

                        Three years ago when I had my last polo (before it caught fire ) I had a dump pipe installed by Seb @ European Automotive with an APR tune & Seat intake.

                        I cannot remember the exact size but I can say it made a massive difference it how it pulled all the way to red line - it just roared.

                        It sounded SO much better do - turbo spool was so much more noticable.

                        • Got new plates today, Euro style, looks much better i think!

                          Also my Milltek TBE is 2.5 i believe. Sounds unreal at higher revs but not too much different from standard with not giving it the beans. No drone, its awesome. Not worth the money though but ive always wanted noise from my car. Speaking of i really need to get around to installing my BMC OTA airbox.

                              Kang, my new plates arrived today as well! Mine aren't the euro sort though, I went personalised, pics tomorrow when it's light

                                there really isnt any extra noise since it was only a DP and better cat. the noise is a little louder but its not loud enough for any sound clips
