  • I'll tell you know the KU31s suck in the wet.

I've had this argument many times with my close Brisbane friends. 1 car trip with me in my local area when they're down to visit is enough to cease all arguments.....
+1 to this, was in Sydney for the nats, dam the roads are bad, noticeably worse than the majority of roads up here.

Mine's been turning over a bit slowly for a month or so, but it spat the dummy and didn't want to fire at all this morning. The cage thing has 3 clips down low that are a pain to get to. Big flat head screw driver is a help. Also battery is a standard DIN 53 size I think. I picked up a Century from supercheap.

Edit: theres a bracket with one bolt at the front of the battery which holds it down (figured out after several puzzled minutes trying to wriggle it out)

                • Changed the gearbox oil over to Redline MTL and then swapped in a new fuel filter yesterday.

Both were surprisingly easy... even if the gearbox plugs were particularly hard to get out (stupidly tight)

                  • Hi all,

I had some H&R springs fitted last week. I'm pretty happy with it all so far!

APR mount is a very worth mod...changes tighter & smoother from my experience...little bit more vibration at stand still but if you have exhaust done im sure that won't bother you much

                        • Drove a company vehicle - Holden SV6 wagon.

Made me appreciate the Polo more, the 6 was pretty average in terms of power and handling.

used to drive those a bit for work .. horrible in the wet, to the point of being downright scarey, the handling is atrocious.
