  • It's very sporty. I will be removing the Whiteline rear control arm bushes as I'm moving away from Poly's, back to rubber.

I loved the setup, but for my local crap roads it's too sporty or I'm getting too old... Amazing grip, hope I get to keep that element, I dont get tramping and you have to give it a lot to spin the wheels.

          • I haven't done this, nor know anyone who has, but there are several informative looking "tips and tricks" at e-how about this, plus many other facets of auto care. Here is one of the more comprehensive ones I saw; also try the related links in the left pane. How to Remove Paint Chips From a Car | eHow.com

              • Installed the glossy b-pillars... they look good and yes I did loose one of the screws in the door (seems in there pretty good without it though)

                  • Think I said earlier that I got my IPad mounted up, used the kit from Holdmyphone and Ipad Integration kit from Cushie Audio.

Works really well, took all of one minute to fit.

Still toying around with Dash Command, haven't had time to install Revs 2.

Also had my honey combe lower grill turn up.

Also had a call that my coilovers have arrived so going to fit them Saturday along with the SEAT Solid Bushes and super pro competition gearbox mount.

My 312mm brakes will hopefully be here tomorrow as well so may fit them as well. Will see how it all goes.

Sabelt 4 Point Harness and my TRS tow strap will hopefully be here today as well. So still need to try and find a bucket seat that I like.

Going to evaluate how it goes with that and then will see what else needs to be done suspension wise.

How is the refresh rate for the data? I have seen some (not totally credible) complaints of slow response about the Kiwi WiFi on some web forums.

                          • I'm getting old... It rides well, but I spend too much time in traffic ATM to justify the ride.

When I was using the car primarily as a toy for cruising it was great. It's wonderfully at speed but a little jiggly when going 10kmph over crap roads...

                              • Installed the BMC air filter (thanks Thunder!) and the Seat Intake.

The air filter was a piece of cake (obviously) however the filter was quite stubborn.
At first the screw holes at the end of the hose didn't line up and after pulling it out again and then re-inserting they lined up on a slight angle and with a some diagonal screwdriver work was able to get them together.

Unfortunately there's a slight vibration (i think from the ribbed part of the hose against something else).
                                Anybody else had this problem?
