What do you think of them Stuwey, has it fixed the tramlining and torque steer? I bought them off Eddy and haven't fitted them, although I can't find the box that I put them in - Hopefully he still has some in stock.
Seems much more planted in a straight line, but I haven't given it any stick yet. I guess we'll find out!
The alignment started with terribly uneven camber, so it all helps.
Finally got around to 'de-yellowing' the Polo - removed the last of the vinyl wrap and gave the car a good clean & polish.
I have to say I quite like the car with the black-on-black look but I discovered that the vinyl had hidden a heap of small dings, dents and battle scars from numerous off-circuit excursions and one large kangaroo. As a result I'll probably end up re-wrapping the car once I figure out what colour to do next.

Wow heaps better, sorry to say, but i think the yellow was horrid lol
coming off alexandra pd onto the eastern (big S-bend, i like to hit it pretty hard), heard lots of grumbling from two cars coming off hoddle street, around the two big corners, onto the eastern, outbound.
turns out that i had stumbled upon a fight that was taking place between a bmw x6m and a c63 amg...
the two of them, obviously thinking that they're invincible, took their fight into the right hand lanes, right in front of me.
corner speed. momentum. pass. both drivers looking a bit sh7tted off when they see that it's a nondescript polo on small wheels with no exhaust note. you can fill in the gaps.
everyone in this section already knows this, but god, these little polos are capable when they want to be.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand back to thinking that polos are incapable crap, based on on-paper numbers.....
Wheel alignment yesterday, Pirelli's fitted today. For a tyre with a treadwear of 400, they're pretty grippy! Nice and quiet, too, which I'm thankful for. Seem to have a bit more 'bag' than the Bridgestone of the same size.
