Claybarred the whole car.....and god damn it makes a huge difference!

I just bought the $30 Meguiars Clay Bar Kit from Supercheap and I was pretty pleased with it. My car was covered in tar and it easily got every last little bit off.

Are you going to polish it now? Not only the dirt is removed by a clay bar.

Yeah I know, I will after I get it back from VW tomorrow afternoon (getting CV boot and another o2 sensor replaced). I just ran out of time today. I was going to re-polish me wheel lips as well but that will also have to wait now.

it's odd they are 5x100 fitment though.... as far as i knew we can only get them in aus in 5x112.

So O.K. they have a web site, but i just find it hard to believe that they have GTI rims in 17" x 5x100, thats all.

Eddy it does say on that site those rims come in a range to fit most vw and I do know that some guys have imported some 5*100 of these from south africa or where at least looking into it
