Thanks mate. Been wanting to do this since the very beginning but didn't like the idea of using a smaller battery and high cost of install due to fabrication of the battery holder/clamp. Didn't revisit this idea until recently learning of the availability of this new oval design which got me thinking. According to volkspower, mines the first installed on a polo (well aust anyways). The traditional cda have gone down in price.Originally posted by noone View PostNice work mate. Are these BMC units still around $500?
Actually these new compact oval type ones are more expensive than the round cylindrical ones as they retail between $599-$629 depending on size (ours is the latter) compared to $350 to $450 for the cda.

Yeah that was the first thing that came to mind when the air box was removed. Get plenty of room now to fit anything significant. Actually it now kinda feels like somethings missing. Any ideas guys?Originally posted by gjuu View Postthis photo seems to show a bit of room - maybe for a catchcan for those that are going that way and looking for a place to put it
