Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Apologies for the iPhone quality (lack thereof), but I couldn't wait till I got home with the SLR.

Nice wheels mate! Are they Stu's old twists? as with Blitzens, twists really suite 9N3 Polos.
Did you have to use any spacrs?

yes they are Stu's old twists. With a 7.5" wide wheel and an et35 you dont need spacers, they should sit pretty pucker

                • Couldn't help yourself lol.

Couldn't be bothered with the hassle of adapters or trying to talk my way out of a "dis-agreement" with the 5-0.

Plus they're perfect and with perfect timing to boot.

                        • Received my PD160 from Jabbasport this morning, had it installed about 30 minutes later. I had the time, so I cut out the stone guard at the same time.

Now to take it out for a test drive, to see if theres any difference...

                          • Does anyone here have a spare N75 Race they want to part with? I wouldn't mind swapping one in and seeing if I like it... I seem to remember maybe Troy or Noone saying a while ago that they'd ordered 2 from ECS to cheapen the shipping cost... Is that still the case?

                              • I have the Race, not sure if I want to part with it... They're a bit over $100 direct from ECS, if you can wait a week you can have mine for $90. Only had it a month or so, but could use the cash flow
