Can you let us know how they go at night compared to the stock globes.Originally posted by noone View PostChanged my low beams to Blue Vision globes.
Went for a drive with tim on nebo so he could see how his new suspension goes, nice drive and had lunch on way.
Also reprayed front emblem this week with bumper paint which worked really well compared with the plastix i had previously.

Looks good!
Yeah, I'm interested to see as well.
I don't think the light output is increased, just the hue is changed. I went with the highest legal (think about $55), but guess no one is really going to be able to pick up on them being a little above that spec (but costs more like $85 and upwards for the Philips ones). Wait and see...
Thanks to PoloGTi for his guide, still managed to get confused but made a big difference for my being able to do it without taking half the car apart. Still took me 20 minutes

1st evening drive, I'm happy with the upgrade.Originally posted by oliverconnell View PostCan you let us know how they go at night compared to the stock globes.
Before I didn't want to have the lights pointing too far forward as I felt the light was too dull for proper coverage (I have 20/20 vision). With the new globes, I don't feel so concerned about straining my eyes for killer potholes, etc.
The lights don't look DUB, i doubt unless you had 1 of each you'd be able to see any real difference from outside the car, but I bought them for improved visibility, so I'm happy.
If you have the cash, I would think the CrystalVision is a good buy. Not legal, but as the specs are very similar to the Bluevision, I highly doubt anyone is going to pick you up on it.

I posted this in another thread but thought it was relevant in this one too. I am referring to the seat solid rear wishbone bushes Jimmy recently imported;
Well after having Jimmy install my bushes today I can honestly say best mod since being chipped. For the first time the power delivery around corners is brilliant, to the point where I get awesome tyre screech which I have not heard before. I have decent wide rubber on to, 215/40R17 Goodyear Eagle
F1's and as I said never heard them squeel like this before under power around corners which proves to me it was the movement in the old voided bushes that caused the trapping and delay of power. The steering even feels more solid when not on boost and I detect a tad more torque steer under full boost in a straight line which is due to more power through the front wheels I suspect. A must do for Polo GTI's IMO
Thanks again Jimmy

got my car dynoed today. with the four programs (valet,stock,95, 98 ).
98 Mode = 109kw approx with 354nm torque
95 Mode = 108kw approx with 343nm torque
Stock Mode = 89kw approx with 291nm torque
Valet Mode = 20kw approx (couldnt get a proper reading of it as the engine cuts off @ 4,000rpm)
So there you go, 95 and 98 mode is pretty much the same, but with a little less torque (then again you won't feel the difference).
Green - 98 mode
White - 95 mode
Purple - stock
