I don't know about that IMO this is still my all time favourite Polo
No rice, just down, out, sleek & tuff
Yeah I really like that one too but remember that's also been shaved a fair bit at the front which adds to its awesome looks. I wonder how much that would cost to get done....hhmmmmm
Shaved and no badge I like. Standard and no badge actually looks like there is something missing and doesn't look right. Just my opinion.
don't show him that!!! haha thats the look I'm aiming for shaved front sides back and hatch door, badgless grill, satin black front bit, bonnet and roof, on air ride, 16s or 17s staggered 8-9wide..... i want my car back

Looks a bit like this before you get the little void filled in
As you can see you also loose the red strip on the bottom of the grille as well.
I have a spare red trim off a previous grill that I plan to put on the badgeless grill, plus that little bit of a notch dosn't bother me at all...It will stay as is. I can't wait to get home and fit it all up...Only 5 weeks to go!!

I actually don't like the badgeless grill on the Polo. I reckon a black badge is the way to go.... and is the reason i will be ordering one.
I dont know how much the black badges cost, but i sanded mine down and put 10 coats of black bumper paint on it which costs $15 from repco. Gives a matt black finish and very smooth, be very hard pressed to tell its painted.

The bugs show up though
did you have to sand back the chrome on the insides of the V and W. It would be hard to get in there wouldn't it?

i sanded it as well as possible within reason, but the bumper paint seems to be a little rubbery in texture and forms together fairly well. I initially only did 4 coats and that was a little thin in places but took it off and added another 10. been on 2months now and no sign of damage...yet
