Holy crap! Now here's a guy who takes it even further ...
"Hmmm... chip the Polo or buy an R32."
Congratulations on the purchase. Look forward to seeing it at the next meet.
Yeah…LOL! I’m crazy. Farewelled my 2006 POLO GTI today after a bit over a year and around 25,000 kms. It’s going to the country! I’ve bitten the bullet and traded in on a MK4 R32- I've always wanted one of these, and frankly life’s too short. Polo is nearly at 50,000kms. Its been driven spiritedly, and has served me well and has not cost me a cent! Only problems were a wheel bearing when I purchased the car which was repaired under warranty. I’m farewelling at a good time I think. The car has some “mysterious” noises now I think. A few minor knocking suspension noises, cv joints are on the way out and the dash creeks like hell. Plus its due for some new rubber and brake pads. But it has proved to be reliable and entertaining little car. The R32 has everything this car has and more that I wanted…except for a sunroof…which I will miss. And I will also miss its little turbo whistle, now I’ve got an angry howl. Last pics for clicks- sorry about the quality, I was rushed.
Removed Festo flow valve and got car working normally again (Yay!)
Removed stock lower grill section (Jesus that was a bastard) and installed the new Honeycomb middle and passenger side section.
Bought a cheap Dremel equivalent and cut away the closed Honeycomb section of the drivers side lower piece.
Attached the air diverter off the stock drivers side section, waiting to dry...
Will post some pics when all done.

Getting a 2.5" exhaust and dump pipe put in today as well as try to fix my knocking sound from my coilovers...
congrats on the R32, how much did it cost you, easy to haggle? a friend is keen on a VW, after having a ride in the polo... but knowing him he likes to be one better....
