That's what I'm planning to do - put the boost gauge and and EGT gauge in a double pod, mounted there.
Glad to hear that the routing will work

I could be interested in a seat FMIC as well too Gav. Especially if you can get one for $50.00 lol. Interesting reading the thread too. I'm hoping to catch up with you around Christmas if you are around.

Ok, been out this morning, got email on my phone from Auspost about a missed delivery. Chuff.

Get another email, parcel ready for pick up at the PO.

            Superpro bushes, ordered Tuesday.

Of course I wasted no time and fitted the pair of them in an hour! No test drive yet but TBH they can't be worse than standard VW ones. What the f were they thinking when they fitted them? The Seat ones should have been standard issue FFS.

The Superpro one are listed as being anti-lift but if they stay pointing straight enough to not scrub the inside edge off the left tyre I'll be happy.

I am not a big one for taking photos during the job, so sorry this is all I took.

            Nasty VW V Seat

Bought the tool to remove and fit with the subframe in situ.

            EDIT

Just wanted to update the thread on the Superpro bushes. I have driven, standard, Seat and Superpro in a reasonably short space of time. Without a doubt the standard ones are a massive fail. You could feel the front left especially going all over the place under power, tram lining etc.

The same was a little true of the Seat bushes, but that was in Anthony's car with a fair bit of extra power.

The Superpro are well planted all the time, the car feels much more stable through bends. No horrible noises, so definitely liveable in a daily driver. Obviously, I'll have to keep and eye on then with respect to longevity but I don't see it being a big deal here.

There's a bit of a cost increase over the Seat bushes, fitting time would be the same though.

Yeah, organise first, post photos second. I'll fix that in a bit.

I don't think you would need to be a C.S.I. to determine that's probably a puddle of Coopers Pale Ale gone amiss

Mmmmmmm Coopers. That's an imported beer in Queensland, making it special. I wanted a case at a local bottle shop and had to settle for 3 sparkling and 1 pale, as that was all they had....

Anyhow, onto todays fun and games. Up earlyish after a late night at work, beat the dyno boys in this morning..

3 runs, just to see the 'differences' in the 3 states of tune I can magic up in the Polo. I ran std from the AMD one click, tuned from the one click, it is in fact a few clicks but that would be splitting hairs!

Then last, a swap of ECU to run Phase 1.

FYI the car is factory, paper airfilter and ebay DV. The next nearest thing to a modification to the motor is a piece of 3 inch duct to the airbox. You can see a little filter on the old SAI pipe connection.

So here's the plots to fight over for a while.

CC looks more linear and a fat/safe AFM reading

Stock afm bang on stoich (I'm not saying that is good just an observation)

Heaps more boost for the custom maps

Where were you taking the AFM numbers from? Exhaust tip or sensor?

Stock AFM is good for the cat

You can certainly see why there's no benefit to revving past 6000rpm with breathing mods
