...though still considering getting a resonator fitted as I do use the car for business.
Oh so you are now running without the middle resonator? I thought without it would make a nasty drone.. Also any feeling of extra power with the new exhaust .. I guess improved sound will automatically add 10Kw

Yes exactly - middle resonator is gone completely (must have evaporated while I was driving). Just a pipe with a couple of bends from the cat to the muffler at the back.
No drone at cruising speeds. HM Headers are making these for Viezu Australia under the VAR Design name. They are a major exhaust manufacturer and manufacture exhausts for HSV, Walkinshaw, Elfin as well as aftermarket systems for a lot of other cars. So they know a bit about making exhausts.
I wasn't expecting any increase in power - just sounds like it goes faster now
Just a word of caution on installing any old CAI. The ECU is pretty sensitive with air flows and aftermarket CAI's can upset them (speaking from recent experience). I changed my CAI recently from one design to another this and caused all sorts of issues. Ended up reverting back to the stock intake and this fixed things.
Yes had a new design intake installed and it didn't agree with things - performance was way off. So I've gone back to my stock intake for now and will hopefully get the old GTI/R style intake sent across and fitted back on shortly.

Lol .. So you must be driving crazy fast than me or you can blame Vezu tune for making exhaust temp too high last time I checked my one was there Speaking of which did you get the new race tune yet?

I really dig your wheels + arch set up. Make the Tiguan looks chunky and substantial. Do you mind sharing the offset +width of your wheels and what mm spacer you are using? Any rubbing problem?
If the suspension setup is the same as the Golf's - the rear springs will take about 5-10mins each. The fronts are a bitch though.
The DV+ is a good little product - eliminates the problematic pieces from the stock DV but retains the solenoid and electronically controlled component. Mine is working well.

Sorry Tigger73 for hijacking your thread
Now that you've finished drooling over Naresh's R-line body kit and wheels can we get back on topic please

Seriously thinking about getting one of these. Even though my stock DV is "working" I can't help thinking the DV+ has got to work better.

Sorry for the slight hijak, I just wanted to answer the questions above. Also, to confirm (without sounding arrogant) my car is a genuine R Line model, not just a bodykit.
My current wheels are 19x8.5 et 32 with 15mm spacers all round. No rubbing problems at all. The only time I got a few instances of arch scraping the tyres over severe bumps was a motorway run a couple of months ago, but the car had a full boot, and there were 5 of us in the car which included 3 back seat passengers each averaging 15 stone in weight. That was a VERY rare journey with the out-laws - something that won't get repeated again in a LOOOOOOOOOONG time!

Cheers for the info mate, appreciate that. I'm looking at 19 inch wheels with 9.5 width with blank offset, they can basically machine the wheels to have offset from et15 - 45. Probably best getting the arch extension first then play around with the offset later. Your stance will be the benchmark .
