Probably best getting the arch extension first then play around with the offset later. Your stance will be the benchmark .
No problem mate. Yes get the arch extensions first then decide how much offset you need to stay flush and not need any spacers. Also bear in mind that I have the Eibach Pro-Kit springs fitted too.

    Now back to topic please.

    • Back on topic now...

Installed some S2T Flappy Paddle Shifters onto my steering wheel this morning (lowering springs are in too but I'll need to wash the car before taking any photos).

Looks great but will need a little bit of getting used to as there is a little less clearance than with the standard shifters.

Once you get your airbag out the rest is a piece of cake. Even though I've done the airbag removal before it still took me 15-20minutes of stuffing around with a screw driver and mirror to undo the retaining clips. The challenge is to stop the first clip re-engaging when going to attept the second... did this about 10 times

Yes really happy with the springs. Before it was certainly sitting up but now it looks "planted".

Initial impressions is that I'm really impressed with the ride as the progressive springs do take out a lot of the smaller bumps that the stock ones transfer to the cabin.

Speed bumps are a bit firmer but that was to be expected. Will test out a few road humps and rougher roads in the next week.

                  • 'Planted' is a good choice of words. looks fantastic! If anything, the gap between the tyre & the plastic arch guard looks less than mine (i'm running a lower profile, i think? 245/40/19).

Not much left to do now, apart from the chrome plated grease nipples and double reverse overhead twin cam door handles! I guess there are a few more items on your wish-list...

                    Nice...

Yes running 245/45/19 so I do have another 5mm to fill up the guards.

Hahaha I am almost finished - a couple of bits of hardware and software to go

It does corner slightly flatter - but remembering I already have front and rear sway bars in so they do a pretty good job at limiting the body roll. The main difference noticeable straight away (apart from the drop of course) is the variable rate springs ability to soak up the small bumps - it definitely runs over the manhole covers, etc with a lot less fuss.

                          • Now that is one tough-looking Tig! Ride height is perfect.

Wonder how much further it'll drop once the springs settle. Hopefully not much... maybe 5mm?

I keep entertaining the idea of springs but it seems to handle our local happy laps reasonably well on OEM suspension.

Obviously if you are going to be pushing it hard the springs would be a worthy addition.
