Just to clarify in more detail for others looking at this setting:
This tweak is helpful on the freeway when you are not in the right lane and approach a slower car driving in the right lane.
Usually the car slows to the other cars speed (annoying if the car in the right lane travelling at 100km/hr in a 110km/hr zone) and does not proceed past them.
Deactivating this setting allows you to continue at your predetermined cruise control speed and pass the car in the right hand lane.
Doesn’t even have to be on the freeway. If you’re on a multi-lane road and the cars in the right lane slow then you will also slow to not overtake on the left.

I find this annoying and dangerous. People behind you do not expect you to slow in this situation as it isn’t “normal” behaviour. The slowing isn’t gradual either (like taking foot off and coasting) it’s a more rapid deceleration to stop you from going past the vehicle in the right lane.

At least by disabling the function I have a choice.

            • Anyone figure out a way to get the factory navigation to still be able to display on the digital cockpit when using CarPlay navigation?

Also anyone figure out how to adjust the sensitivity of the auto headlight? I’m tired of them always coming on the bright daylight.

For me it's possible. I have a Tiguan 2018, I use Android Auto and Waze on a Discover Pro. You've just follow these steps :
                1) on the discover, run Android Auto (for you : Carplay), use Waze or an other Navigation App in Carplay and Start the Navigation with the Phone App
                2) on the discover, go to the Car's Navigation, enter a destination and run it
                3) You should see on AID the map and the navigation.

                Sorry for my english

Apple play doesn’t allow a two screen setup.

It may be best to send him a PM with the details of your autoscan as he doesn't frequent this forum area much.

                    • Hi Everyone,

Has anyone had any success with enabling traffic sign recognition displaying on the Heads Up Display?

We just got the new tiguan wolfsburg edition and bit dissapointed its been turned off in Australia.

Is it something that can be done through obd11 pro?

                      Thanks

Yes I have done it on mine. It works well (except for the warning you get when you start the car) and yes you can do it with obd11 as that is what I used. Instructions for doing it should be at the start of this post, if you can’t find it let me know and I’ll re-post it.

Yes, by default when you enable traffic sign recognition it shows on the AID then there is an additional setting to enable it on the HUD.

                            • Anyone know how to adjust the sensitivity for the auto headlights? Mine turn on just driving under a tree. Then they don’t turn back off. I’ve made the adjustments in the car settings but it doesn’t help with anything. It essentially makes the automatic headlights worthless.

                              Thank You

Take it to the service, this is not normal, I personally find the automatic headlights flawless.
