That’s what I’ll do. I was just hoping there was something I could change.

    • I was having a poke around the other day and pretty sure there’s adaptation settings for these.

If you could repost it with HUD display it would be much appreciated. I couldn't find the instructions here.
        Thanks

Thought I'd start a thread on any VCDS tweaks people have had success with. I assume most of the ones that work for the Mk7 Golf would also work but will be great to know which ones actually do work! Any screenshots, pictures, videos associated with the tweaks would be great! I'll let you guys know which ones work when I get my car and get around to borrowing/buying a cable!

These are the ones I'm keen to do on my Tiguan when it arrives:
            1) Deactivation of auto stop/start
            2) Memory retention of seat heater setting
            3) Deactivation of seat belt reminder
            4) Activation of Volkswagen Traffic Message Channel
            5) Driving school mode
            6) Air-conditioning recirculation memory setting

Deactivate the Prevention of cars overtaking on the Right (Tigger73): http://www.vwwatercooled.com/forums/...ml#post1281355
            - This tweak is helpful on the freeway when you are not in the right lane and approach a slower car driving in the right lane.
Usually the car slows to the other cars speed (annoying if the car in the right lane travelling at 100km/hr in a 110km/hr zone) and does not proceed past them.
Deactivating this setting allows you to continue at your predetermined cruise control speed and pass the car in the right hand lane.

            • Hello,
I got the obd11 pro and used the apps (credit points) to turn on the traffic recognition sign and reeboted infotainment but its not working. I lost the speed limit on the navigation which i expected but nothing is showing on the info display. I went through it the long coding and check every step to make sure the app made changes and everything was ok except one step in A5 module adapt road sign detection fusionmode wasnt changed to road sign detection, so I changed it manually and reeboted again but still nothing.
Can anyone help me out or have any ideas?
              Thanks

Now i put everything back but lost the fusion road sign speed limit on the gps. It wont show speed limit on the infotainment gps anymore like it did before the coding.

I hope you find some solution. I kind of stuck

Have you gone into the Vehicle Settings, then Instrument Cluster and turned on ‘Dynamic Road Sign Display’?

Mine works great. I do get a quick message in the AID that says ‘Dynamic Road Sign Display is currently restricted’. Not sure this is normal or not.

Yeah I did. It was ticked and then I rebooted infotainment. Did you code it manually or used the app? Which vehicle do you have? I ll give it another go this evening

                      • I have an Allspace. I coded it manually using OBD11 as per the guide on the auto instruct website.

We will always get that until VW releases a map that says we are allowed to have the feature. It's not officially supported here.

The 2019 Toureg is not going to support TSR. No maps anytime soon. So SAD [emoji24]
