its in long coding, it’s part of the ACC, if you have the cruise set and your on a dual carriageway on the inside lane and coming up on a car in the right lane then the car slows to the speed of the car in the right lane, the mod stops you slowing allowing undertaking, it was discussed on the Passat/arteon forum a while back
I'm not sure about MY18s but my MY17 Tiguan don't have this problem. Make sure you have it before start fiddling with it.
I had this problem and deactivated it on my MY18.5 Golf so I know how annoying it is and I'm certain MY17 Tiguan does not come with this function preprogrammed.

I checked and I've this option disabled by default. Quick one for you - does the other lane appear on the AID only when this feature is turned on?
My Tiguan has third row seats and consequently the tailgate can only be opened but not closed with the remote or the door switch. I would like to change this so that I can both open and close the tailgate remotely.
I have VCDS. Does anyone know what parameters need to be changed in order to enable this?
Just as an experiment, try closing the tailgate from inside with the engine running. My Audi, a current model A6 Allroad, works this way.
I don’t know the logic behind it. I can open the tailgate with the inside button regardless of the engine running or not, but can only close it from inside with the engine running.

Hi
I recently purchased OBDEleven Pro from autoinstruct. I own a 2018 Mk2 Tiguan and thought to customise some settings. I was trying to turn off start/stop, enable high beam assist, and traffic management on the navigation.
Unfortunately, I have made a mistake and can’t remember what I changed. There is now an error “error cornering light (AFS)”
Seeking the community’s help and expertise on how to fix this?

In the OBDEleven app you can view your history which will show you all the changes you have made. From there you should be able to either work out where you have gone wrong or you can manually go through and undo all the changes you made.

I’ve had a look at the history for each of the modules and changed each of the settings back to the original, no luck! Does anyone know the specific OBDEleven screens to go through to enable AFS?

Update: So I managed to correct the AFS cornering light error by going into control module 4b > basic settings then:
- basic headlamp settings > go (then)
- acknowledge basic settings > go
Hope that helps the next person out of a jam!
