      • How to enable at the same time main beam/drl and fog lights for CH/LH?

        Comment

        • Fog and DRL would look cool for CH/LH. I set mine to run the Fogs with DRL during the day. Fogs shut off at night when the mains come on. Can still use the switch to force the fogs on.
Looks cool, being LED the fogs are fairly dim during the day, but adds a nice subtle glow to the front grill.

          • Ok got both main beam and fog lights as CH/LH - I've set the coming home option to fog lights and manually used LC5 C6 and RB1 C7 to set them as CH/LH.

Anyone knows which channel is used for cornering lamps in headlights? I would like to set them as CH/LH too.

hmm...... I don't think that it's possible to use Leuchte -programming to alter the cornering lights in the headlamp fittings. The operation of these lamps is controlled by the range-control modules (@ address hex 55) - I think. Happy to be corrected

Please don't PM to ask questions about coding, or vehicle repairs. The better place to deal with these matters is in the forum proper. That way you get the benefit of the wider expertise of other forum members! Thank you.

              • Hi, I have a problem on my golf 7 that I bought 2 days ago, and I found out that my high beam is not working, in my dashboard the blue indicator is lighting OK but no high beam, the car has factory Bi-Xenon and adaptive light with automatic high beam and also automatic light is not working.
I attach the scan of my car and I hope someone will help my, I think that is a problem from coding because the low beam is working ok.
                Thank you!

                • Hey guys - over in the Passat section - someone posted this: http://www.vwwatercooled.com/forums/...ml#post1236287

Basically in that post, they talk about how they increased the voltage of the DRL's and headlights from 10v to 12v and it's made a "world of difference". Unfortunately they're unwilling to share this information (for free). This was posted a little while ago, so I'm wondering if anybody has managed to figure it out in what section it is?

You know what...never mind - I think this is to do with halogen globes, and not LED's. I thought I could increase the intensity of my LED lights, but I don't think this is the way to go about it. I'll keep digging on this.

As a side note, I've got a kick-to-open bootlid/tailgate. Does anybody know if it's possible to do "kick-to-close" ? I found a VCDS setting for a Skoda Octavia, but in my model 6D-Trunk Elect, I don't have the option to close on kick.

I'm just hoping this is possible through VCDS and doesn't need the VCP tool.

If you press the rain light feature next to light switch it turns on extra lighting almost like driving light without blinding other cars in front or oncomming

                      • Golf R Mk 7.5 has the Driver Assistance Package. Using OBDeleven I noticed Pedestrian Assist is not enabled any thoughts welcome car built June 17 first of the Wolfsburgs. If someone can check a later build to see if it's activated?

                            • wow - what an amazing thread some very talented individuals here. though i have a request if someone would like a challenge.. Anyone seen a setting which will allow the USB Port for the Discovery to stay powered when engine is off? (mk7 Golf) I think it stays on for about 10 minutes once the engine is off though i want it on permanently or at least for a couple of hours.. anyone seen a setting?

(Ps. I already did the fuse change for the cigarette lighter!)

                              Thanks all.

                              • Hi all, I've recently bought a brand new MK7.5 comfortline with DAP and I wanted to implement the 5 brake light mod.
I have tried 2 methods (this and that) so far without any luck and I was hoping someone could help me out.
My golf has the standard LED tail lights.
Below are some screenshots of the current settings in OBD eleven.
Thanks for all your hard work guys.
