I take it that the camera is a flip badge type?
If so is it actually opening when you put the car in reverse?
What is the actual fault codes from the RVC?
Is it automatic or manual car?
What software version is the RVC?
What car did it come from (ie what parameter set is loaded on the camera)?

Thanks a lot Kamold for your prompt response.

My code for camera module is:
    01730001C301000300

And yes RVC low in 5F module is active.

Also check 5f coding and ensure rvc low bit is enabled in byte 19 I think from memory.

Rvc module has no video signal as the fault says.
Check your wiring per the wiring diagrams.
Post your coding string to check it is correctly coded.

    Hi @kamold,
This post is really brilliant, I have used it for my discover media retrofit in my CC, CP removed from the person I bought the unit from, all activated and working properly except the camera which I need your help in it.

My highline camera was working perfectly with old RNS510, I have tried after the retrofit to use RGB converter but it gives always black screen with no signal. I tried to test it even with a TV using RGB converter but again I got no signal.
I then bought a second hand 7n0907441b module to get rid of al the cables & converters. connected all wires as supposed to but again I receive no signal in the MIB. Module is read by VCDS but cannot be coded "error coding rejected"!!

6c module is giving two failts (video line no signal & databus)
After googling many forums and posts I have done the below:
Enable and testing VPS but still nothing is comng to the screen at all even the OPS disappeared.
When enabling the low RVC in 5F module it pops up a black screen for 3 seconds and then shows "the parkpilot is currently not available" then OPS only can be activated until the next reboot of the MIB so I assume I have a coding problem for 5F module somewhere and I guess my camera might have diffictivness somewhere. What do you think?

I can do them, or get you a patch board and instructions if you're familiar with removing and soldering eeproms and reading/writing.

Thanks, assumed so, the next question would be then .... what would be the best/easiest/cheapest way to remove said component protection?

As in, who can patch the board?

Looking at upgrading the RNS510 in my MY14 Amarok to either Composition Media or Discovery Media. Do these units have security codes like found in the MK7s?

Hoping someone can assist with getting my retrofit working as I am having some issues.

MK6 R which has RNS510 but looking to put Composition Media (5K7035200D) and RVC in.

Struggling to get VCDS to see the Composition etc which I need to program for Dynaudio, bluetooth etc. Is this because my CAN Gateway needs to be upgraded / replaced?

I assume no compatibility issues with the existing Dynaudio setup?

You'll probably want a USB port to replace the aux port in your centre console, can them on eBay.
Needs to be coded and adapted properly for Dynaudio. Ideally ask the seller to do it for you before shipping otherwise can be done with vcds.

He gives such values and does not go. Does it need a code to calibrate the camera?
