    Ok, i changed the setting but the audio is still worse (I really don't like it right now). I still need to test a little bit.

    Regarding RVC: I am going to install 7N0907441B RVC module. Do I still need to get 5N0827566AL camera (right now I have "AB")? I read that only index "AL" allows a correct calibration.

    What is required is parametization from a Tiguan which is only available with ODIS online. Then calibration data must be loaded to the module either via directly dumping the EEPROM contents or running the calibration procedure in ODIS.
    Is there another chance to get a correct param for Tiguan without ODIS online? With access to a Tiguan with factory fitted Discover Media + RVC, might it be possible to dump the params (VCP?) and load it on my module? It's just an idea.

    Yes that's correct it's 250w, same as the VW Sound System amplifier.

    Ok, I will try changing Byte 4-7 to 000000 and see what happens.

    But I can't find any info on the wattage of my "5K0 035 456 C" amplifier. I guess it has 250w, so needs coding to 03 in Byte 11?

    Byte 4-7 should be 000000 as you have 8 passive speakers, not 4.
    Byte 11 is correct for Golf Dynaudio 250w amp (03). It's 05 for Passat Dynaudio which is a different 600 amp.
    VCDS label file is not complete.
    You can't use a converter with highline OEM RVC. It doesn't work.

    I already wrote a reply, but it needs to be confirmed by a moderator?

    Ok, i edited this post for now:

    Much easier is to just use an aftermarket camera that doesn't require calibration.
    What exactly are your coding/adaptation settings for amplifier?

    Hello kamold,

    regarding Dynaudio here's my setup:

    Byte 4-7 - AA000000 2 Channels / 4 Passive Speakers installed (PR-8RH) or Sound system (PR-9VE)
    Byte 11 - 03 External Sound System installed (PR-9VE)
    ENG122229-ENG117764-Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2-Amplifier_0x2D => activated
    ENG122229-ENG117765-Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2-Amplifier_0x2D_msg_bus => Databus Infotainment
    MAS00950-Audio Parameter => 0
    ENG117919-Startup_Screen_Sticker_HMI => 00 02

    On my car's sticker there is "PR-9VE" noted (I ordered Dynaudio from factory). My amp is 5K0 035 456 C / KonzernAmp 8K H07 0202. I'm missing the sound "dynamics" a bit. The RNS 510 was way better regarding the sound.

    In your entry post you wrote:

    "Address 5F, long coding, byte 11 - change from 01 to 03 (or 05 for original Dynaudio amp)"

    Do I need to change byte 11 to 05 maybe? VCDS is missing that label though, only 01 and 03 is shown, but ofcourse one can enter it manually.

    With my current setup: balance/fader is shown correctly and it works as expected.

    And does anyone have experience with a converter for the original highline RVC? I'm thinking about trying one out (although I already ordered the the RVC module + RVC camera + harness).

    It's up above the driver's footwell, above the relay carriers. It's a fair way up there behind the dash.

    Thanks for the info. I will have to go hunting for some information on where it is physically located as what I have found so far left me confused.

    I'm new in here and want to share my experiences. I have a Tiguan 5N 2014 with factory fitted Dynaudio and rear OPS. I upgraded to RNS 510 and RVC (highline) about some months ago.

    So I fitted Discover Media (Index G) 2 days ago. Everything works as expected (even with older gateway without 5F support), except my Highline RVC (it's just disconnected for now). I nearly read all pages in this thread and I am going to fit newer 7N0...B RVC module + new harness from back to front. I will get a completely new 7N0 module, i hope i can get it calibrated without ODIS?!

    In addition: Right now I have the camera 5N0827566AB installed, will it still work with the new RVC module? Some say yes, some say no (..... AL camera is mentioned instead).

    I will also fit a new PDC module to make the PDC display work together with the RVC camera (but will do that later).

    I managed to configure the Dynaudio amplifier in adaptions + coding, but my feeling is that the sound was way better with the old RNS 510.. anyone else has the same experience?

    Greetings to all dm retrofitters

    Welkom! I noticed a slight difference but think it still sounds better than most other cars out there.
