Composition Media / RNS510 replacement
Further to this and it may be a really dumb question...
Does anyone know whether I can use the existing installed microphone and wiring or do I need to replace it with the one that came with the Composition? I understand the requirement to use the new cabling for the CarPlay capability but wondering whether the wiring for the microphone is different on that header / connector.

MK6 R which has RNS510 but looking to put Composition Media (5K7035200D) and RVC in.
Struggling to get VCDS to see the Composition etc which I need to program for Dynaudio, bluetooth etc. Is this because my CAN Gateway needs to be upgraded / replaced?

Not sure what else I can recommend...your RVC module is not detecting a video input.
Seeing as your camera was working with the RNS510 you'd like to think the camera itself is good.
Without another RVC module to rule out your 7N0 RVC module all you're left with is checking all your wiring is correct.

Hello Kamold I got my harness from the below link and I used it exactly as described by connecting the camera and module!!
VW Wiring loom reversing camera High Line Camera 7N0907441B Camera TIGUAN I, Sharan. VW Kabelsatz Rückfahrkamera High Line Kamera 7N0907441B Camera TIGUAN I, SHARAN. | eBay
Module is also purchased from this:
VW Passat cc Facelift 1.4 TSI Control Unit Rear View Camera Rfk 7N0907441B VW Passat cc Facelift 1.4 TSI Control Unit Rear View Camera Rfk 7N0907441B | eBay
Still black screen for two seconds and then "the parkpilot is currently not available".
Any Idea on how to test the camera itself and how to remove the error messege from 5F module.
I'm sorry to bother you that much but I really spent like a week trying to find a solution but with no luck.

Orange brown and orange violet cables to CAN-+
White and black cables to MIB pins 6 and 12

Which input do you have your camera plugged into in the RVC module?
It still shows no video input.

Try sa 20103 for rvc.
Yes there is adaptation required for park assist.
Take an adaptation channel map and post it.

cannot code the RVC module, it gives error "coding rejected" does it require any security access or sumtheng to code it?
And what about the problem with 5F module: the parkpilot is currently not available"??
Any adaptation or coding to consider?

The first 2 bytes of your coding are not documented in VCDS.
But my coding is:
01130608A201000700
Note I am RHD, don't have a flip badge camera or trailer.
I would try changing just your first 2 bytes to 0164 (passat CC) and see if that makes any difference.
But otherwise it looks like the video input to the RVC module is not correct.

yes the camera is the flip badge type and yes it is opening once reverse without any error.
