Was the second thing I did, first was the headunit.
Short shifter feels so much better, more direct gear change, love my dieselgeek

This has to be one of the easiest and one of my most favourite mods I've done. It really transforms the feel of the shifter, so precise with nice short throws. It's a little notchy but apparently this goes away after a little while.

Yeah it hasn't been the smoothest sailing but definitely worth it. Let me know when you're back up this way and we'll go for a brap

Dude sucks to see how many issues you've been having with it, but I'm glad to see it's getting some more love. Have to come for a brap when I'm next up in QLD

Runs good now on stage 3+ tune. Keen to go for a drive when yours is 100%!

So car is running again, no coolant leaking and no tow trucks . Decided to celebrate by ordering some dba rotors to finish of my r32 brake setup and also ordered one of these VW Short shift kit for MK4 5 speed . Next on the list are engine mounts then its time to think about a decent diff and clutch setup. Gotta see how it handles the power once the full tune gets loaded on.

Yeah that's kinda what I thought, there has to be a reason for it to fail. One of the hoses that goes into the heater core has a bit of a kink in it, would this cause excess pressure. I'm gonna take out the turbo inlet tonight and trim those pipes so they sit better, it's just so damn tight back there
