Same reccomendation as per Ant's thread:

Have you looked at spacing the back of the bonnet up using washers/nuts like they do in the JDM scene to pull the hot air out the back of the engine bay?

How did it go out there other than the heat issue?

No they were replaced about 2.5 years ago when I had the eibachs and bilsteins put in. I think fresh own would be fine. The track density ones don't feel any harsher than stock, feels more planted if anything, felt really good on lakeside

Too late haha coilovers have been ordered. Brakes are well on the way to being sorted anyway just gotta get some discs, I'll be upgrading the rears to 256mm at the same time. After my run on lakeside on Saturday I think I need to address under hood temps so I'm shamelessly stealing Anthony's idea and have purchased these

Spent another constructive afternoon at Gavin's house yesterday. Replaced my strut top mounts, the bearing on the passenger side decided it hated life and my strut...

Feels so much more planted now and no more annoying squeaks from the front end . The only downside is that it raised my front end up about 15mm and I really liked how it sat before will be ordering some kw v1s this week. H&R springs and bilstein shocks will be for sale soon

Check out Jig's thread for info on this bumper: JIG's MKIV R32 - Page 66

Managed to wiggle the intercooler down about an inch so it fills the bumper better

Would've liked to have moved it down another 1/2 in but the pipes didn't let me .

Sounds good!! Well it seems a little faster, boost definitely comes on quicker and lag in between gear changes has been greatly reduced. On a side note my cars still acts up when cold. I unplugged the maf sensor and it dies. I thought it was supposed to just go into limp mode when you unplug the maf but it just stalls out and when you try to start it with the maf unplugs it dies after less then a second. Anyone have any clues?

It's um a bit bigger haha. Should be able to fit though, the crash bar will need just a little convincing from an angle grinder though.

So decided I've had enough of my eBay fmic, this arrived today...

Also think my maf is on the way out as sometimes the car just runs terrible as if on 3 cyl with alot of misfires. Only intermittently though an only from a dead cold start. Coil packs, spark plugs, cts, o2 sensor, ait, and icm are all fairly new plus Gavin recently cleaned the throttle body, so it's all that's left really.
