    had a good look at the 034 motorsports site last night, i can see myself spending ALOT of money there haha. ordered a phenolic intake space, a heat shield for the coilpacks and some track density strut top mounts... hopefully these will last longer than 2 years

    haha.....well i actually "fixed" it, ghetto style. i sewed the two 'halves together, pricked myself a few times along the way. but i think it worked because i now have an extra inch in vacuum and the pedal no longer goes stiff as soon as i shut the car down.... probably should replace it though, i don't know the load rating of the thread

    yeah mine says Bosch too and also says MR 60 and EPDM

    that is the grommet that seals the brake vacuum line to the master cylinder anybody got a part number for this?

    I was going to offer you the keys Jimmy LOL. Extended road test when you fit the top mounts maybe?

    Was great to see u guys today, the car and the nice effort, very pleased that this has been done, Carlos i wasnt game to ask for a drive just yet till you are happy with tunes etc and leaks etc, and i had zero time , glad i managed to squeeze a bit of time in though.

    Proper base file now loaded to the Golf, I reckon it goes well. I'll let Lito tell the tale with more words. Turns out what we thought to be an oil leak off the oil drain, is in fact a water leak off the coolant drain.

    Really smooth driving in traffic, still picks up better than a standard GTI when off boost.

    A bit hard to get to but small enough to not be worry immediately.
