Haha thanks mate. It has been a labour of love but I wouldn't have it any other way. It's ready for the full tune now, just gotta find the time to do some data logging. You should get a mk4 they are sooo much fun to mess around with and quite cheap now too. Beastly little motor that 1.8t -

looking great so far with the mesh in the R32 bar certainly makes it look neater and will protect the cooler from stray debris when driving all the way from home to Gavin's place haha!!

Have you sided out the south bend clutch kits? I have one in mine and really happy with it. Quieter than the suches clutch kit I had.

I think 034 and IE stock them as well but I don't know of anyone else. Also would I be able to keep my current flywheel with the fx400? Or will I need a different one?

Just noticed this thread was closed, not sure how or for how long but we are back in business now not much to report really. Drove all the way to Byron and back without anything going wrong, which is good. Pretty sure my clutch is dying though, hasn't started slipping yet but the pedal feels like mud and it's pick up is pretty high in the pedals travel.
Oh and maintenance is paramount!

Re-trimmed the headliner yesterday. That foam that's on the from factory is a nightmare!!

Spotlight actually have a materiel for car apholstery so it's got a soft foam backing. Over-all pretty happy with how it turned out, not perfect especially around the sunroof control panel. But a lot better than before hahaLeave a comment:

Yeah too bad no one will ever see it. AFRs are in the low 11s till redline, so chuffed about that! Thought id broken something when I went for a test drive this morning as it had a loud metallic rattle coming from the engine. Shat myself!! Turns out was just my dipstick tube had slid off and the dipstick was rattling around, cool story hey!
