Thats correct, the 7's are a little colder. I had been picking up on some sporadic timing pull and had checked a lot of other areas for answers, a few people had suggested it could be some fouling or carbon buildup on one of the plugs, so thought I'd check them.
The plugs cost me about $20, needed a long (10") extension bar and the plug socket as well.
Did some logging, it seems the occasional pull at low rpm has gone, so happy with that. I don't expect to feel any real difference in terms of how they operate, cleaning the existing plugs would most likely have yielded the same results.
I've only done about 23,000 kms, but I don't see the issue in changing them around this often given how cheap they are.
