Yes i know i believe its best to keep a car for at least 5 years before buying again in a way i was thinking vw and bmw merc hold up better than say a holden or ford all you folk seem to like the gti so in 2010 im sure some one will snap up my gti.If i dont believe there is a better small hot hatch then i will keep bit longer, i may hot it up like you guys.mk 7 golf 90 tsi comfortine dsg lime stone grey

Black wheels look pretty good on the red gti and they're some wopping great big brakes you've got there!! Stopping power must be awesome? Does the ABS need adjusting when installing such huge brakes?APR V2 Tuned, APR Dogbone mount, APR R1 DV, K&N Panel Filter, SEAT Intake, Forge TIP & FSB, Bilstein & H&R, Whiteline RSB, Full Milltek 2.5" exhaust

i bought them off another forum member for a good price. they originally came off an audi S3 wreck, so they already had custom carriers to fit audi/volkswagens. they also came with EBC reds.Originally posted by Bubu View PostHow much did that set you back??
And where did you manage to find Alcons that fit the the Polo? Or are they fitted with custom adapters?
i would recommend anyone interested in similar brakes to make sure your wheels fit over the calipers. there is only ~3mm clearance with mine, and my wheels are offset +32.

mozzy u would need at least 20mm spacers more like 26mm to fit those brakesOriginally posted by mozzzy_2000 View PostI've seen you can get wheel spacers. Can they be used for the extra room or are they for something else I can't think of at the moment?Originally posted by seangtiThe price of the car rarely indicates driver ability/lap time.

I've changed all of my front bulbs with Philips Blue Vision !
The colour is whiter than the stock ones but i was expecting a little more blue halo....
I think the "Blue Vision" advertising is a little bit excessive, isn't it ?
It seems that :
- Blue Vision are 4 000° K
while
- Diamond Vision are 5 000° K
So maybe the Diamond Vision will sweet my desires...!?
But does somebody know why Philips doesn't reference the Diamond Vision on their website ?

Well, not today, but friday...It finally happened...I got APR'ed!!! So much fun!!! I'm so happy with it I pee'ed a little!!!
Oh, I also drove from Townsville to Sydney with a quick jaunt over Mt Glorious with the boys...Alot of fun, and it was a pleasure to meet you guys... 2,745km @ 8.3L/100...I'm pretty happy with that...Also, I reduced the Cane Toad population by 10...Ok, so I got a bit bored on the drive!!!
