What would you suggest other than H&R's? I think this topic has been done before but I wouldn't want to buy something only to dislike what I've bought.Current:
2023 Mk2 Tiguan R - Lapiz Blue
2015 Mk7 Golf R Wolfsburg - Limestone Grey: Stage 2
Gone but not forgotten: 2008 Polo GTI Shadow Blue

The springs are good, its the shocks that suffer. The stiffer springs really need stiffer shocks to give better handling, with soft shocks the ride can be bouncy and unrefined. The springs tend to be the cheap part of the equation, but with fitting new springs / shocks costing in the area of $250-$400, its not something you want to pay for 2wice if it can be avoided. I'm not sure if it was like that from day 1, but seems to be getting slowly worse (not bad, just not great).Originally posted by Servo View PostWhat would you suggest other than H&R's? I'd be changing the brake fluid out too.Originally posted by bfeboi View PostAfter the track day at oran park i always new that i had cooked the ferodo ds2500 pads and ebc rotors but i decided to let them be till today when i swapped the pads back to my previous ones and

Ive been to a few track days at wakefield, eastern creek and finally oran park but, i fitted the martini fluid, ds2500 and rotors for oran park and as you all can see they got munched hard.
ive gone through 2 sets factory pads they were never this bad.... maybe i should go for ds3000 or red stuff..
but atm i think i'll be needing a new clutch soon. pick up is getting quite late

I get the feeling that the ABS kills the brakes faster than normal. After my wakefield day my brakes were pretty brutalised, but I don't see the value in keeping the stock rotor size if you plan on further track days.
Maybe a 312 upgrade will give you better results, I found the cost of the rotors / pads to be not too dissimilar so once they're on, assuming brake feel is good, can only be a win...
