NB : Does somebody know how to wash the engine's bay easily and without any problems of water infiltration or electrics short-circuit...?

cover all the electrical parts with plastic bag or plastic wrapping. Just make sure once you have finished washing, you need to dry it.

Gave it a wash

Got the karcher out and gave it wash got the spider webs off checked to see how mutch fuel left its been a while since i got fuel went to get some red rooster about 15 km and noticed i had 6003km not bad since its a early 2006 polo gti drives a lot better than my work yaris .I think i might go for a longer drive on the weekend the fuel is cheaper now.

i was thinking the same thing kai. it's no 'collectors' car. what a waste .

at the end of the day, resale will only be a couple of grand better off on a low km GTI. the opportunity cost of really enjoying the car and racking up km's in it far outweighs a few thousand dollars resale.
