Caught up with Gav and he changed the standard bushes to Superpro anti lift, which is a nice upgrade and definitely helps put the power down. Car points a lot straighter and steering feels tighter.
Here's the originals vs the superpro:

Thanks to Gav for his patience with my mechanical retardness!
I ordered some of the control arm bushes about a week ago, waiting to put them in, hope they make a big difference
Trackday tonight so I've finally fitted up a tow strap (FMIC piping so can't use OEM tow hook) and popped on a couple of tow stickers and a battery as rules require. Haven't fitted up the fire extinguisher for this one, not a requirement for this one but I'll get onto the bracket this week/weekend.
I think I'm in the market for a new clutch, 90k on the stock one and I've been beating up on it since going stage 2 which hasn't helped.
hey greg do you know how that clio was set up? he only seemed to be getting away from you on the straights #butthurt
Welcome back, Scotty, even if it's only for a visit. Not sure about suspension but it only had AD08R's for tyres so I almost certainly had more grip (even with the old, failing A048Rs). I was making a lot of ground with the different line through the sweeper but on that 2nd last lap when I finally got past him, he had the 3 long straights to pull me back in so he got back past going into the esses and I wasn't going to play games holding him out since it wasn't racing.
Probably the most fun session I've done with the PoD which is why I put up the whole thing (and why no one will watch it all and see how hard I had to work to make the passes )

sorry greg, i had tunnel vision - trying to work out why the clio wasn't hitting the corners as hard as you were. When's the next track day? i've got to get camber/ wheel alignment sorted, plus i'm waiting for a custom rear anti roll bar, but once i'm set up i'd like to follow you around the track and learn some stuff.
Pulled the entire intake tract seeking a leak of some sort. Didn't find one, but did manage to break a fog light in the process. The lens fell off! Haha.
