Ordering a Forge Wastegate actuator for my Frankenturbo.
Following a thread on VWVortex that says that the supplied actuators are inadequate for high boost.
Ebay have them but its two weeks delivery. Anyone know where I can get a Forge actuator FMACVAG01 asap.
Another setback to getting my car back on the road.

Holy crap hey! I've been watching that thread like a hawk. Bad news for Doug. Maybe just crank the crap out of your preload until he makes and official statement mate. Then he has to act as yours is still under warranty I presume.Originally posted by Redliner View PostOrdering a Forge Wastegate actuator for my Frankenturbo.

I don't think mine is that good either, going Forge for the billet turbo that's coming up. Ade at PSI tuning will be supplying it next week after GTI International is over.Originally posted by VWindahouse View PostHoly crap hey! I've been watching that thread like a hawk. Install was dead easy, it connects into the CD changer port on the back of the unit, hardest part was running the plug down through to where its mounted.
Picked it up from here: USB SD Aux MP3 Interface for V w RCD200 RCD300 RCD500 | eBay
bear in mind though max supported SD/USB is only 16GB.2008 Polo 9N3 Gti Black Magic + APR Stage 1

I'm guessing you had to use the VW keys to take the whole radio out and plug it in like that??

I laid across the engine for three hours fitting the franken manifold to the car and the f21t to the manifold. What an absolute ball ache. Spent the whole time with a work light and makeup mirror. There's like 15 nuts... Three hours. Jeesus. If I ever have to take it off, I'm thinking about pulling the head.

Actually i dont think that is too bad, I kept the standard manifold on when i saw the quality of the franken one.
