It would certainly be easier to fit! Getting more expensive as the AUD falls though

Except some skin by the sounds of things

Jimmy will never forgive me for putting him through that ordeal as mine is a bit chunkier and also needed some scalloping on top of everything else.

        • I can't imagine it getting much worse. I probably should have milled out the pockets for the nuts so I could get a socket on them. Not sure if its going to work out in even the remotest, but I'm going to try and design a new manifold. I'm hunting down a metal sintering printer at the moment to cost a prototype. The latest SLS printers can print at 90% density, so 304/314 stainless is certainly possible in impossible shapes, galleries etc. it'll be a fun design exercise if nothing if else. Here's a RE shot of the franken manifold in RapidForm RE aka Geomagic Design X.

          • Nice mate, don't forget the runner separator in the collector like the OEM manifold. Badger Bill has done a heap of testing on back to back manifolds like the FT, Kinetic, JBS and OEM manifold and found a ported stock manifold performed just as well but had superior pulse scavenging due to the separator iirc.

I'll have a closer look at doing one later in the weeks when I am on nights.

                      • The tyre pressure warning light up last weekend, had a look at the tyres and seemed ok.

Forgot to check again until tonight. Left rear tyre has had a large screw pierce the tread and the head has sheared off.......... wife says she likes the spare Polo OEM alloy better.

Gav you just had your tyre repaired recently, how much is a repair?

NHJ but could be worse, cheers Al
