Cool - no worries. Ive got the angle cut dual wall jobbies from Magnaflow on mine which i really like. These ones look quite similar so i wondered if they were also a Magnaflow part.

They should look nice once they are on.
I don't beleive there was any branding on the tips - will have another look.
Yes looking forward to getting them on as it should finish off the exhaust nicely.
Does the BT conversion on the APR Tig make the car a pain to drive in city traffic?
I'm just concerned (apart from the cost of course) that whacking a big turbo on is going to kill the responsiveness and end up with a laggy car that has OMG levels of boost and nothing below 3,500/4,000 RPM. I have heard that some of the Golf R's are like that.
Yes and difference between a manual 160kW car and 310kW DSG is going to be massive. I think you're almost better off having a DSG to do the gear changes with that much power/torque on tap.
Do you know what the 0-100 times are with the car - low 4's? I know they're still working on the shifting so it'll only get quicker.
I think I'd only look at going down the path of BT / brake upgrade if I was putting my car on the track whih I don't intend to do. So at this stage I'll give the $20,000 conversion a miss.
next time you are in Brisbane - take it for a spin - perfectly behaved & drivable by your Grandma - that's why it takes months & months to get the software right on all stage 3 kits

Tempted just to get some cheap flights and come up for the day.
Had a couple of edges on the first attempt which have pulled away when taking off the tape. I'm looking to fix up and found that Eucalyptus oil melts plasti-dip so I've cleaned up the edges. Will attempt to "fix" rather than rip off and redo the whole section.
I've heard that citrus based cleaners have a similar effect.
Exhaust tips getting fitted tomorrow.... as well as something else but you'll all just have to wait until it goes back on the dyno in about a weeks time to find out

Keen to see how the plastidip and the super secret squirel mod goes.
I have now grown accustomed to the quietness of stock noise.
The effect of the Plasti-dip is a lot easier to see if you have two cars next to each other. It's chalk and cheese then.
I like this mod because it is subtle - looks a lot better but not really noticeable at the same time. My wife wonders why I bother...
Only possible downside is the rubber finish. Obviously the best would be to have colour coded paint, but for $50 for 2 cans of plasti-dip and a few hours on the weekend it's not bad.
Yes regarding secret squirrels, there's a few things going on in the back ground and I'll post up here when it's all done and dusted.
