Nice work with the wheels - that is a serious bit of kit! How is the ride? I also want to know if you are considering getting some H&R springs in and whether they will fit after lowering?MY10 Tiguan 125TSI | Pearl Black | Manual | Comfort Pack | Kamei Eyelids | MDI | Not Leather | Rubber Floor Mats | Kids | Random Spillage | VWWatercooled Sticker | APR stage I | H & R springs | ECB nudge bar

As long as the missus don't complain...i'm happy with that.
Will look into some sort of lowering in future....maybe a set of coilovers. My recent purchase of these wheels and tyres is killing the budget2010 Mountain Grey Auto 2.0TSI.

These were for sale at volkspower, burwood VIC when i was down there yesterday... Maybe a tad exe for used, but they may consider offers? Glossy black, would look pretty nice on, IMO...

3k is a right royal rip off.
You can get some classy wheels that weigh less for much less $$$.
Also have to factor in the cost of tyres since the Tig runs a larger profile.
My new wheels arrive on Wednesday!

You would want somewhere between a 35 and a 45 for wheels in the 8-9" wide range.

Add $1k for rubber to that and i am happy.
18" will no doubt be less pricey than that and it really depends on what type of wheels you are after.
VMR/Rotiform etc will be around the 1k figure for 18's from memory.
