I have mentioned earlier the matte black rims against the silver car are a bit of a photographic conundrum... Hard to get the exposure right! I'm still loving the look though, 1 year on!

Nice rims, guy at donellans said best to fit 19 with 245/45 as " they do it all the time" for tiguan. Better on the load, not sure what he means..

edi, 5% difference in the profile shouldn't be a problem. I Think the 245/45/19 would have your speedo reading fairly true. The 245/40/19 (that i have) have the speedo reading as it would with stock wheels & tyres, ie reading about 5% more than what you are actually doing. Others here have 245/45/19 without issues inside the wheel well as well.

Simon, got the rubber from BJTMart January 2011, just over a year ago, when they were on special for the month. Think they were 15% off at the time. (They were $324 ea inc. fit, balance & nitrogen fill)

It is rather hard to find white rims with 5 x 112, the brand is axis.. And they don't even list the white on their site..

white on white looks ace.
Will be intersting to see how hard they are to keep clean, i would reccomend a good quality sealant and a good quality wheel cleaner.

Golf R Wheels, 19x8 sitting on 20mm H&R spacers

Thought i read earlier on the offset is wrong, though? Spacers?

OEM offset is et33. Closest offset I could find was et35 and even those were rare in this wheel (1 set in the UK!). The width went down to 8J from 9J. The original Omanyt 19x9 wheels already sat too far inside the arch for my liking and had I kept those on I would have still added 10-15mm spacers all round, so 20mm spacers with the new wheels made sense. They fit yes but I like the flush look.

Unfortunately with the KW coilovers wound down the flush look scrubs too much..........as I found out

As I have aftermarkets on my R, the original 19's are earmarked for the Tig!!
