No, you would need need a taller sidewall as i believe the stock measurements are 235/45 any smaller and you run the risk of increasing the in-built speedo error.

The Breytons look awesome, very agressive.
Nice and light too, i would probably have gone with them if they were available when i ordered mine.
Breyton do good things with BMW and are now branching their wheeels out to other marks.

The front carbon lip was from a mk6 GTI i believe and had a bit of modification to fit.

The older S5 style wheels were heavier but did look pretty good.
Will be interesting to hear if the handling/steering has improved with the new lighter weight wheels.

                    • This is the weird thing about relativity. When my car cost close to 300 grand, a set of 5k rims seem relatively cheap.

But I'm balking at a set of ProDrive 19" forged rims that costs just under 3k

Yup..just had both sets of rims weighted before putting in my tig...S5 wheels 13.4kg each...Breyton 10.8kg each...
Maybe its just me...i felt the car lighter on the go...handling/turning wise crispier...when going thru potholes and uneven road surface it tends to sound different too..not as heavy thumping as d previous S5 wheels...overall im happy with it so far...

That wheel style never gets old.
The black wheels make it look like it sits even higher than stock

                            Are they the GTC ones?

                            • It does look a little higher doesn't it?? Maybe it's my camera angle. 19's really arent that big huh...? these are the GTC-CX wheels that come from the same factory as the VMR's in Taiwan.

                              • Nice, Dan! I know from experience they are difficult to photograph, but they would look great 'in person'! Good on you! What tyres did you end up getting? *edit* never mind, just read the tyres thread... Did you end up getting a black locking bolt or just running with 4 bolts for now like i did?
