  • Thanks team_v, factoring in $1k for rubber and thinking these guys look pretty good, $890 for 18" replicas:
18' VW R32 STYLE WHEELS FIT VW GOLF PASSAT JETTA AUDI (eBay item 280600397624 end time 05-Jun-11 14:09:00 AEST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats

Anyone sold the stock 16" recently? Is ~ $900 with tyres reasonably if they're brand new?

Jesus that is a bit more than i was expecting!
      I would say $800 max?

My 19" reps of the other R32 style wheel are going for 1k.

I sold my stock 16's with rubber for $600 but you can probably get around $800-$900
Might be best if you can find 4 people who want a full sized spare and split it $200 each.

      • I split mine and got $550 for the tyres and $400 for the wheels, both as new condition. If you split them they appeal to a wider audience, not just Tig owners. Wheels went to a Golf owner, tyres to an Xtrail owner.

        • Nice, I'll split and put in the for sale section when aforementioned Tig finally arrives.

          • anyone know if wheels of this size will fit on a tig, pcd is right but offset is off a bit, but in the ballpark

            SIZE: 18X8, OFFSET: 39P

tyres be 235/60/18's, know present tig tyres are 215's, so not sure with the offset difference if that will work? ie whether getting close to rubbing on the inside or the other way pushing outside the wheel arches

I can research more, but thought there would be a few here who would just know

              Will fit fine Jimbo.
I am getting my 19x8 ET35's fitted tomorrow.
They will sit towards the outside a bit more than the stock wheels though.

              Tyres are 245/45 too.

                        • Hmmmmmmm........ something doesn't seem right mate........ not sure whether it's not enough spoke with too much tire....... outer rim seems rather beefy too... sorry bro but I'm thinking the old 19's looked better but would have been wicked in an ET30 - 35 offset.

Team V nice looking wheels, but I have to agree with Creniac, something doesn't look quite right to me. It could just be the angle of the shot, but I think what it is, is you had a definite theme before with the 'all black'. The wheels themselves are nice, but dont quite match the rest of the colour scheme. I think chrome window surrounds and rails would balance it out nicely, but you may not want to go there. Anyway mate its only my opinion, she's your ride and hope you are loving the new look.

It does look like not enough spoke because of the split spoke design rather than the full spoke design of the previous ones.
But it does weigh less without the full spoke there.

Unfortunately the other ones only came in an ET45.

The new wheels don't really match with the old colour scheme (may or may not fix that later).
I don't think the pictures do it justice as they really do look quite good in person but i can see you points from the pictures, it's weird.

The difference in feel is worth the lack of nice design in pictures for me.
