sales guy said he had a lot of interest but i was the first actual deposit he received and they're expecting to be allocated 10 cars for september-october

I imagine you just register the colour you want and hope for the best on the ones that rock up.

i told them what i wanted (white, bixenons, dsg, delivery by end of novermber etc) and was told they'd be able to give me more info in a few weeks

the only info they had was that they would be given 10 cars to start off with and they are expecting end of september-mid october for the first deliveries

no. as long as you write TBA in the deposit section. and also "subject to test drive" in the special requirements section

ps am seeing more and more mk7's on the road. but gee you have to look carefully at the rear tail lights or notice the subtle difference to the front headlights to even realise its a mk7. they really havent changed much at all with the overall look of the mk7 golf have they !

Yeah the back isn't too hard but the front of a halogen Golf 7 is pretty tricky if you're not familiar with the different apron.

I still cannot tell the difference between the new and old a3 if they have their lights off though...

The tail lights are quite distinctive. The other give away design is the fuel flap. It's a parallelogram
