Can anyone give me a fair price as to what I should sell my factory 19" silver Golf R wheels for? Someone contacted the
dealer where I got my car from and is wanting to buy them. Dont want to rip him off or short change myself. Just wheels, not rubber.
Earlier posts such as this suggest they could be as much as $1500 each. My advice would be to call a dealer spare parts line, find out how much they are each, and then offer them at half that cost or something.

Probably 1500-2000 is a fair price.
Bear in mind they aren't performance oriented wheels (i.e. Oz, Enkei etc) so your only selling point is that they are OEM which only really helps for resale.

Save your time, they're around $1200 from spare parts.
Given the vast range of high(er) quality wheels available after market, to think someone will pay $4k for a set of OEM wheels is ludicrous. Though there is an idiot born every day as they say. $500/wheel is the absolute peak IMO.
Most big Mercs have front wheels that adjusts the camber as it turns at low speeds which isn't unlike how a bike corners. That's what gives it a tighter turning radius.
The 4WD gear seems to cause this large turn circle. Ditto with my Evo. That was always a gamble. I ended up avoiding u turns on major roads. In case I had to do a 3 point turn.
Yeah I do. Didn't think 19's would matter so much? Is there that much of a difference between riding on 19's than 18's? I had 18's on my S15 and it had a great turning circle,it came standard with 16's.
