Damn what a bad trip.. you should demand the swirls be removed.. that is just a crap pre delivery polish job.. take photos and tell them that you intend on taking it to a 3rd party and they have to pay.

Damn... sorry to hear this. Was it floor stock?
You're in TAS so I'm not really sure of any detailers down there, but if you could get it to Melbourne and leave it for 2 days, there is a detailer called Mario at Eurogloss that could fix all the swirls, and then add an aftermarket clear coat called Opti-coat to your car to help keep it swirl free and looking new longer.

Thanks Corey_R, SilvrFoxX
It was a brand spanker, so a bit disappointing. Covered in unbuffed polish too. I guess they rushed it to deliver it to me on time.
I will have another chat to them on Monday and see what more they might do.
Another observation, it seems to turn the heads of Audi drivers

They have to fix it.. you can't accept swirls on a brand new car.. unless you are into removing them yourself but that is not the point.. tell them you want it booked it to be done properly or they have to pay for a 3rd party to do it I( that would be my preference as they fked it up to start with)Current Ride: MY 16 Daytona Pearl Grey Audi S3- Performance Pack 1, Sunroof and Driver assist

Was in the middle of an EXCITING Oracle database yesterday and recieved an email from my dealer....
My Golf has been built and is awaiting shipment.
I couldnt concentrate for the rest of the afternoon.
Looks like I will have to get the VIN off of the dealer to start tracking
