Awesome colour, IMO carbon is the best colour for the MKV. I also prefer the smaller 17's over the blingy 18 detroits.

Quite interested to hear about the wheels/tyres once you've put them on. I've also been looking at Pilot Super Sports (briefly), but thought it was difficult to get them in the right size/shape combo for Golf GTI wheels?

225/40/18s in the Pilots seem easy enough to find. Depends what size you're after I guess. Absolutely HANGING out for the OZ Superturismos to get here! Been wanting a set of these things for over 10 years would you believe :S

Took my 69 beetle for a spin down to Campbelltown Volkswagen Dealership today to drop in some paper work for my new car. As I drove in a couple were driving out with their brand new rising blue Golf R I'm not sure who was smiling more me or them but I think they thought "Poor guy has an old bug and we have our brand new R"
