Hi all,
Just ordered my first VW 2weeks ago, a golf mk6 118tsi! Expecting to get it in about 1and half weeks, really can't wait
I recon in the coming months I'll upgrade the media unit to the rns510 and install the rvc.
Never had a new car.... Kind of excited!!

I'm going to resist temptation not to mod this thing as crazily as I did my Pirelli. This one needs to bring me and the kids to work/school each day.

Just ordered a 90TSI DSG - any advice
Hi everyone
After lurking here for a few months have finally bit the bullet and ordered a 90TSI DSG.
Any tips I need to know about driving it? Have read many people saying it is different from driving a normal auto car.
Hubby took it for a test drive and said he thought it was a little jerky compared to his auto (I didnt find that and said he was just a bad driver LOL). He's used to driving a V6 auto which can fly off at the lights and he said that he couldn't do that in the golf.
I also noticed when I took it for a test drive that it has a 'Sports' mode, is anyone able to enlighten me how that changes the driving experience and when it should be used. Have googled and can't seem to find any info.
